Kathmandu, Oct 7: The Policy Research Institute (PRI) has discussed on the concept papers of various 20 research projects to be undertaken in the current fiscal year. 
In the two-day workshop organized by the PRI, recommendations and inputs from stakeholders were gathered after the presentation of concept papers. 
The workshop was attended by researchers from PRI, as well as representatives from the government of Nepal, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the National Planning Commission, and relevant ministries and agencies. 
The researchers from the PRI presented concept papers, and representatives from the related ministries and agencies, along with the heads of PRI's research departments and theme experts, provided suggestions. 
Based on the feedback received, discussions were held on how to further refine and make the research concept papers more effective. 
The PRI stated that the main goal of the workshop was to make the research more relevant to the needs of the Government of Nepal, existing policies, practices, and priorities in the relevant field, and secure stakeholders’ support and buy-in to make the findings from the research applicable in the policy-making process.
