Former Indian Test player KS Bharat to play for Kathmandu in NPL

Kathmandu, Aug 23: Kathmandu Gorkhas has signed Indian wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat as its first foreign recruit for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Bharat, an experienced Indian domestic cricketer, has played seven Tests for his India. He has also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has scored more than 6,000 runs in first-class cricket. He retired from international cricket in June earlier this year.
The third edition of the NPL is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from coming October 26.
