Kanchanpur, Aug 23: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, Pratibha Rawal, has urged landless squatters to be confident in receiving land ownership titles.
In a meeting with landless squatters in Krishnapur Municipality of Kanchanpur today, Minister Rawal said the path to providing land titles has been paved, the law has been improved. “The District Land Committee will start work on this as soon as possible and provide you with land titles.” 
Minister Rawal said that the problems of squatters across the country will be solved by amending the law as the current law has not been able to solve the problems of squatters. 
She said that the government is working on the problem of landless squatters as a priority. "You can be assured that the government will give you land deeds," she said requesting the squatters not to fall for rumors.
Minister Rawal had reached various municipalities in Kanchanpur since this morning and interacted with landless squatters. She met landless squatters of Dodhara-Chandani Municipality, Bhimdatta, Bedkot, Shuklaphanta and Krishnapur Municipality and assured them of land deeds.
