Kathmandu, Aug 15: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Saturday supplied a total of 6,802 cooking gas cylinders of various brands through its distribution centers in the Kathmandu Valley. 
The cylinders were distributed from the NOC facility in Teku,  Chabahil-based Transport Management Office, Radha Soami Satsang Beas premises in Kirtipur, Radha Soami Satsang Beas premises in Basundhara and the premises of Old District Administration Office in Babarmahal. 
The supply will continue on Sunday from seven additional distribution centers, according to the NOC. 
Nepal, HP, Everest, Sugam, Shreeram and Sagar brand cylinders will be distributed from the NOC facility in Teku while Nepal, HP and Bhanu will be available at the Livestock Service Section in Chapali of Budhanilkantha.
Nepal, HP, Everest, Shree Krishna, Sai Baba and Shree Maya cylinders will be distributed from the Radha Soami premises in  Kirtipur. 
 Nepal, HP and Om brand cylinders will be sold from the Nayabazar/New Baneshwor Hotel premises, while Nepal and HP brand cylinders will be supplied from the Old District Administration Office premises in Babarmahal.
Lokpriya, Nepal, HP and Shree Maya cylinders will be dispatched from the Chandragiri Municipality Office. Likewise, Nepal, HP, Surya, Everest, Sugam and STC brand gas cylinders will be supplied from the National Ayurveda Center, Kirtipur. 
According to the NOC, the imports of cooking gas are continuing regularly. It has urged suppliers and dealers to regularize distribution. Consumers who are unable to get gas cylinders for any reason can purchase them from the nearest dealer upon showing their citizenship certificate or National Identity Card.
