Kathmandu, Sept 1: China is dispatching its second batch of emergency relief supplies to Nepal on Tuesday, including urgently needed drones, DNA testing equipment and reagents, water purification facilities and lighting equipment, according to the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. 
The relief materials are being transported aboard a Chinese military Y-20 aircraft, which is expected to land at Tribhuvan International Airport this late afternoon, the Embassy said. 
Chinese DNA identification experts will also travel to the disaster-affected areas to assist their Nepali counterparts in identifying victims and carrying out related work on the ground. The Embassy said that providing emergency assistance to disaster-affected areas in Nepal and carrying out international rescue cooperation represents an important political decision by the Chinese side, reflecting China's deep friendship and solidarity with Nepal. 
“China will stand firmly with Nepal, work hand in hand with the Nepali people to overcome the difficulties, and put our traditional bonds of friendship as close neighbors into action,” the Embassy said. 
China has already provided an initial package of emergency assistance to Nepal following the devastating disaster, including relief supplies, financial assistance, rescue expertise and disaster-related satellite and hydrological data. The arrival of the second batch of supplies is expected to further support Nepal's ongoing rescue, relief and recovery efforts in the disaster-affected areas.
