NHRC urges all to contribute to rescue, rehabilitation of flood survivors
Kathmandu, Aug 26: Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Top Bahadur Magar, has urged the government, political parties, government employees, media, security personnel and the entire community to engage in rescue and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by the flash flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
In an appeal made on Wednesday, NHRC chair Top Bahadur Magar has requested the people from all quarters of life to contribute to the rescue and rehabilitation efforts from their respective positions. He expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and property from the floods in various districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading.
