Four new members of Press Council assume office

Kathmandu, Aug 19: Four newly appointed members of the Press Council Nepal assumed office today.
During a program organized at the Council office at Sanchargram, PCN Chair Umesh Shrestha administered the oath to of office to new members Namrata Sharma, Prakash Bhakta Mathema, Rabiraj Baral and Upasana Ghimire.
On the occasion, Chair Shrestha said it was a welcome step to have veteran members in the field of journalism as members, and that all need to work together to bring about changes in the functioning of the Council.
