Educational dialogue in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi, Aug 21: Representatives from various educational institutions underscored the necessity of addressing the challenges faced by teachers and staff to achieve quality education.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports in collaboration with the Principals' Association of Nepal, reinforced practical solutions to the problems facing teaching/learning at schools.
Educationist Prof Dr Bidyanath Koirala suggested reform in curriculum and teaching methods in line with evolving technological developments. Students have become more tech-savvy these days, he added.
Advisor to the Minister of Education, Shailendra Jha, pointed out the need for long-term reforms in education policy.
The Teachers' Association has already submitted suggestions to the government to improve school educational landscape.
Association's president Sudam Prasad Gautam argued school education was facing problems because the amendment of Education Act, 2028 BS was not made till date.
