Narayangadh (Chitwan), Aug 22: Two people were killed Saturday in a road accident involving a bus and a motorcycle at Khairhani municipality-1 in Chitwan. 
The deceased have been identified as a man, around 32 who was riding the motorcycle, and a woman, around 26, who was pillion riding the motorcycle. Their names and addresses are yet to be confirmed. 
According to the District Police Office Chitwan's  information officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police  Chandra Bhushan Yadav, the accident occurred when a  bus (Ba Pra 03-001 Kha 2773), heading towards Bardibas from Narayangadh , collided with a motorcycle (Ba Pra 01-015 Pa 3385) coming from the opposite direction. 
The two in the motorcycle succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur.
Following the accident, bus driver Ajay Kumar Maskey, 51, of Hariwan municipality-8 in Sarlahi has been taken into custody for further investigation into the accident.
