Baglung, Aug. 22: Chief Justice (CJ) Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma has said that the key priority of the judiciary was to ensure prompt justice delivery, as this will ease the service recipients. The CJ said people's hopes and confidence to the judiciary will be strengthened only if prompt justice delivery was ensured.
The CJ, who arrived in the Bagjung bench of the High Court Pokhara to take stock of the situation of courts, physical infrastructures and justice delivery, said the courts have applied technology to provide speedy justice delivery. 
On the occasion, the Chief Justice inspected the Bagjung bench of the High Court Pokhara and the Baglung District Court. 
Similarly, the Chief Justice held interactions with the legal practitioners of High Court Bar Unit, Baglung, and reminded the role of the legal practitioners to spread awareness on law related issues. 
Sharma stated that the rising cases of child marriage, divorce and rape were not the good phenomenon.   
Likewise, he added that timely justice delivery could be made possible only if the courts were technology-friendly. 
The Chief Justice also observed that the trend of case settlement of the District Court Baglung has improved in the last some years.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice Sharma paid homage to a popular Hindu shrine, Baglung Kalika Mandir, in Baglung on Saturday morning.
